Could you please introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your background in the wedding industry?
I am Renata Cook – I’m a Lifestyle Financial Planner. I loved planning my own wedding and since starting a family, I’ve found that making plans and helping other people plan for their future together is extremely fulfilling. I love working with my clients to make a family Life plan – setting goals that they want to achieve.

What inspired you to become involved in the wedding industry and participate in events like the Braehead Wedding Exhibition?
My clients have inspired me to become involved, as seeing my clients achieving their goals, getting on the property ladder, managing to save for the big holiday, bigger home or retiring early. The feedback has been that they wished they have spoken to me earlier, getting that peace of mind and reassurance they are on the right track with their goals. It is all about knowing what to do and getting to talk to right people who can help you to achieve your dreams and goals earlier.
Can you share with us what your company specializes in or what products/services you offer for couples planning their wedding?
It’s all about Lifestyle financial planning – “happily ever after” is a journey, not a destination. So, I help with all those important decisions along the way. It doesn’t have to be a scary thing-planning for the future-it should be exciting!
