Tell us about your business, the inspiration behind it and when you launched it?
I launched the business in March 2023, I had always been inspired by my parents construction company to run my own business- I just had to figure out what that was going to be! I had tried to get work experience in estate agency’s however, I was getting no where and this is when I thought to myself- I have a degree in international business? I can do this myself! So I got in touch with Keller Williams who are a company that help support individual agents start their own estate agency’s and allow you to use their branding while having your own business. This was ideal for me as I could lean on the knowledge provided by Keller Williams while getting started. As the say, the rest is now history, I have completed millions of pounds worth of sales through my business and this is only just the start.
Best piece of advice you were given at the start of your business journey?
If not now- when? What is the worst that can happen? This helped me just take the leap of faith I needed to start my own business, it was a mindfield at first and I thought to myself, can i really do this? But then I was told the quote of if not now, when? This game me all the courage I needed to just go for it!
What has been your biggest lesson/ challenge faced so far and how did you overcome it?
Biggest lesson has to be trusting the words of clients without seeing the proof, in home sales the seller needs to have all the alteration paperwork in place, by trusting the seller to say they had this, it almost cost us the full house sale when it came to light weeks after the sale that they never had this. After a lot of back and forth with the solicitors we managed to obtain the paperwork by the skin of our sellers teeth. This was one I definitely will not make again!
What is your number 1 business tip for success?
Plan your diary- even when you do not have much on and things are quiet, structure your days and spend time working on your business, not just in it!
What are the big business goals for the year?
To double my sales from the past year

The dream is to have consistent business and bring on team members
