Brazilian Booty Lift Lanarkshire and AuraGLOW (BBL & Beauty Studio)

I launched Brazilian booty lift Lanarkshire in March 2022. After a friend of mine got the non-surgical tummy tuck at another clinic and showed me her results I just had to try it for myself. After 5 sessions it was lifechanging for me! I no longer hid under baggy T’s and dresses desperately trying to hide my mum-tum. I had the treatments in November 2021 and after overindulging over the Christmas period I decided to book in for a top-up treatment and realized the clinic I had went to had closed down with no other clinics local to me offering these types of treatments. After always having an entrepreneurial knack, a light bulb went off and before I knew it in March 22, I was booked onto the training program in Manchester, and it was the best decision I ever made! A year on and the business is thriving, I was a finalist at the Scottish Women’s Awards in October 22 and in February 23 we opened our very own premises!

The best piece of advice I got when starting BBL was to show up and being introduced to meditating and manifesting what I want in life! Some will roll their eyes, but this has been a gamechanger for me!

The biggest challenge for me is having the work/life balance. With 2 children and running my own business its not easy! Yeh you ditch the 9-5 but this is replaced by a 24/7 rota you never stop working. If not carrying out treatments, I am responding to enquiries, creating marketing materials, running social media, doing my books, training and upskilling! It never ends but it is also very rewarding. I am still learning how to balance it all.

My business goals for 2023 is to create a business that empowers woman, makes them confident within themselves, to create jobs for people within the business and to turnover 6 figures.

The dream is to have a chain of salons offering body contouring and for me to be working “on” the business and not “in” the business.
