Tell us about your businesses, the inspiration behind it and when you launched it?
Aspire & Advance provides energetic and engaging Executive Coaching and Mentoring sessions designed to help business leaders and owners to transform their working lives. We work with people to understand their goals and the challenges they face, and equip them with the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to achieve those goals and overcome those challenges.
I have had a 30-year career internationally and across various large organisations. Something I have always loved over this time is to work with people, coaching and mentoring them to be the best version of themselves at work and at home. This inspired me to launch Aspire & Advance in April of last year, and make this passion of mine my full-time job. I have not looked back since!
Best piece of advice you were given at the start of your business journey?
Fake it till you make it – it made me realise that I actually did know what I was doing!
What has been your biggest lesson/ challenge faced so far and how did you overcome it?
My only limitation is me! I had to believe in myself to make my business a success.
What is your number 1 business tip for success?
Never give up and if something isn’t working for you – change it.
What are the big business goals for the next year?
My business goal is to take Aspire & Advance to the next level, to work with even more organisations and help to transform their leaders and their businesses.
How can the GGC Business membership help?
I’m looking to connect with as many other local female entrepreneurs as possible to expand my network and open me up to potential new clients.
What’s the dream?
The dream is to grow and expand my business to help and inspire as many female entrepreneurs as possible, something that is my passion!
