Day 11: A day of healing and movement from The Healing Rebel

On Day 11 of our 12 Days of Christmas campaign Glow Club member and founder of The Healing Rebel, Jen Wilson will be taking over in the group and will be sharing a day of healing and movement for you to take part in live or on the replay.
Here is an overview of what to expect on the 11th December:
- 9.30 am quick mobility session you can do at your desk
- 10 am join Jen for her live online Yoga class, class 10-11am
- 12 pm I will share a pre-recorded lymphatic drainage tutorial
- Just before 3 pm I will pop on live to talk about the GGC escape day
- 6.30 pm I will post a pre-recorded pilates blast, this will be a 20 minute workout
- 8 pm I will post a pre-recorded Yoga Nidra guided meditation for relaxation (approx 30mins)

I Am Jen Wilson, The Healing Rebel,
I support women over 40 living with pain, long-term health conditions, are new or coming back to exercise after a prolonged period of time. Together, we focus on reclaiming health and well-being through movement, relaxation, and healing.
I have been full-time in the health and well-being industry since 2009 and use a multidisciplinary approach including Pilates, Yoga, Movement Therapy, Functional movement, Barefoot training, massage, Reiki, Reiki Drumming, Access Bars, Sound Healing, Lymphatic Drainage, Menopause Massage, nutritional tips, stress management…together we create the bespoke plan for you.
I have classes and work with women 1:1 in person at my private home studio in Springburn and online. I also have a podcast talking all things you can do to help improve your health. AND I wrote a book 9 Rules to Sort Your Shit.
I myself, am perimenopausal and live with diagnosises of Crohn’s and Endometriosis.
I don’t believe in ‘fighting’ or ‘battling’ the disease.
I believe there are SO many things you can do to improve your health.
I believe a diagnosis is something you learn to navigate, it’s not your identity.
I LOVE movement – it’s medicine!
I LOVE gut health & nutrition – it’s medicine.
I LOVE therapeutic massage & lymphatic drainage – it’s medicine.
I LOVE herbs – you guessed it, it’s medicine…
And
I LOVE energy healing, smudging, burning incense, tarot cards, Reiki, Access Bars – all medicine.
AND…I LOVE evidence based science that backs up all my methods.
I am an absolute 🤓 geek always learning, and developing my skills that started out with an HND in Health, Fitness & Exercise, a BSc Sport & Exercise Science and a PgDip TQFE and grew from there! I’m a little bit obsessed when it comes to finding ways in helping you look after your body in a way that works for you🤷♀️

I used to be vegan, but now include fish and meat when my body wants it🐟
I drink a shit tonne of tea (mostly herbal blends I make myself).🍵
I am a pisces ♓
I am an introverted extrovert 🙋
Relaxing doesn’t come naturally to me 🛀
I get very excited when I see animals 😍
I love camping and Paddle boarding 🏕️
I take regular time off as healing leave, it it’s wonderful 🤷♀️
I have travelled a lot and used to live on the the islands of Kos and Gran Canaria and in Australia – but there is no place like home 🌍
