Name, business name Laurie Macpherson

Tell us about your businesses, the inspiration be-hind it and when you launched it? I had a background in employability and had a business training junior managers and doing a bit of employability when Covid hit in 2020. I looked at what people needed then and decided to start helping with finding jobs and the business has gone from strength to strength since. I now help smart women to find roles that they love at the salary they deserve and have been my own boss for 4 years in March.

Best piece of advice you were given at the start of your business journey? Pick a niche and stick to it!

What has been your biggest lesson/ challenge faced so far and how did you overcome it? It’s the mindset stuff. Still feels weird and never sure if it will all go poof tomorrow

What is your number 1 business tip for success? Show up, dae the work. There’s no easy way out for marketing, word of mouth and visibility.

What are the big business goals for 2023? To hit a big income goal, speak in more places and support more lovely clients to get amazing new roles
